The MotionBall Gala was sold out and absolutely packed. Open bar all night and a 12am buffet. Many performers took the stage during, before and after the fashion show. Below are some images from the event and our on-screen presentations.

Hundreds turned out for the event to help raise funds, which are expected to exceed $150,000.

The Gala is motionball’s flagship Toronto event, and has become one of the city’s hottest charity events for the next generation. Held annually on the last Friday in February, the Gala offers motionball supporters an exclusive event with gourmet food, a silent auction, live entertainment and DJ dancing well into the night. The Gala is presented by Air Miles, The Hive and Sun Life Financial.

All proceeds raised are donated to Special Olympics Canada.

Motionball’s goal is to raise funds and awareness for Special Olympics, and to get a new generation of supporters, sponsors and donors involved. We think that a great party is even better if it’s held in support of a great cause. The Gala is the realization of both those goals.

iLLusive’s involvement is to sponsor the presentations shown on all screens and large projection screen throughout the evening. We developed a 25-minute presentation which will run during the on-stage fashion show; theme’d FIRE and ICE.

We may be attending the next show in Sept. Otherwise we’ll be attending trade shows on and off around the GTA/Ontario area, be sure to look out for us. We will be giving away iD T-Shirts as well.

The show is located approx 5min walking distance from our downtown Toronto office, and from Union Station. We will be holding a giveaway for a FREE Website on each of the two days we are at the show. The giveaways will be draws of business cards pulled from a display we will have setup in the booth - make sure to stop by and submit your business card for a chance to win.
